This catalogue contains comprehensive information on all our wide range of solder-pins and tags for coilformers and components, made from wire materials or stamped out of strips
The different materials and a leadfree coating (RoHS compliant) of the solder-pins and tags have evolved during many years of close cooperation with our many customers and their different applications.
This applies to the use of self-extinguishing and other new plastic materials, but also very much for applications using new soldering-methods and techniques. When fitting terminals yourself, please note that the minimum order quantity is 15.000 pieces.
Individual solutions to customers specifications are possible - we can consider special materials and also supply solder-pins and tags in sizes and shapes to your requirements. For testing we can produce prototypes.

Flat-Round Solder-Pins (z)
with serrations along the rounded sides, exhibit increased pull-out strength. When soldering at high temperatures, gas can escape along the flat sides preventing pin push-out. Wire-wrapping and tear-off is similar as with square pins. The serrations help the wire stay wrapped on the pin before soldering, and also decrease the occurrence of solder-tips after soldering.
The cut cross-sections are bare. The pins are made from tin bronze CuSn6 and subsequently tinned. They are cut to different lengths (incremental steps of 1 mm/0,039 inch).

with stamped notches, are made from drawn wire. The cut cross-sections are bare. This type of pin is preferred when pinning small quantities of components manually. Because of the notches this pin has limited use when pinning brittle plastic components.

Press-Fit Solder-Tags
The solder-tags are stamped from strip material and tinned afterwards. A stamped-in "nose" ensures exact positioning into the plastic and good pull-out strength. The wrapping area is slightly slimmer to avoid wire slipping off. Stamped holes are provided to connect external leads.
Special solder-tags can be produced to customers specifications, however, a minimum quantity of 250.000 pieces applies. Special materials and alternative finishes are available on request, dimensions in mm/inch.

Side-Wrapping Solder-Tags for Cable-Shoes
One side of the solder-tags allows connection of cable-shoes, sizes 2.8-0.5/2.8-0.8/4.8-0.8 and 6.3-0.8. The opposite end has a slimmer section for wire-wrapping. Side-wrapping solder-tags are stamped from strip-material, and are tinned afterwards.
Special tags can be produced to customers specifications, however, a minimum quantity of 250.000 pieces applies. Special materials and alternative finishes are available on request, dimensions in mm/inch.

Side-Wrapping Solder-Tags for PCB-Mounting
The solder-tags are stamped from strip material and tinned afterwards. The wire-wrapping area is slightly slimmer to avoid wires slipping. At the other end the soler-tags are slightly rounded to allow easier insertion into the pcb.
Special pcb-mountig solder-tags can be produced to customers specifications, however, a minimum quantity of 250.000 pieces applies. Special materials and alternative finishes are available on request, dimensions in mm/inch.

Side-Wrapping Solder-Tags
The solder-tags for side-wrapping and connection of flying leads. They are stamped from strip-material and tinned afterwards. The wire-wrapping area is slightly slimmer to avoid wires slipping. Stamped holes are at the other end, for connecting flying leads.
Special solder-tags can be produced to customers specifications, however, a minimum quantity of 250.000 pieces applies. Special materials and alternative finishes are available on request, dimensions in mm/inch.
