Wherever high-temperature soldering processes are used, we recommend irradiation cross-linked thermoplastics. Cross-linked materials can be exposed to short, but very high peak temperatures. Beside improved production aspects there may be also interesting cost advantages.
Our extensive range of modular tooling allows almost unlimited constructional changes to customers specification, often by simple changes of tool inserts. In addition, our modular tooling system allows short tooling times, and is also cost-effective.

Depending on the box-type the solder pins have a cross-section of 0,6 x 0,25 mm (0.023 x 0.010 inch) and 0,6 x 0,4 mm (0.023 x 0.016 inch). The design features "stand offs" to the pcb to eliminate cold soldering, or can be used as positioning aid.

Pin-plate with centre hole suitable to carry the toroidal core. The hole allows a potting in the box and guidance of the wires (for standard pinning on side N). The pin-plates feature a great number of pin-holes. Thus the pins can be fitted to your special requirements. A suitable potting box RK-VG is available.
The carriers are made in gfr Polyamide PA66 of type A RV250 nat. (RTI long-range temperature +100°C). Pin material: tin bronze, tinned. Maximum solder temperature 350°C, 2 sec.

The new series of toroidal core carriers allows the vertical assembly of toroidal cores without potting. The toroidal core is fixed by two spring brackets. The winding wires can be routed through the centre during assembly and bound on to the solder-pins.
The design features stand-offs to ensure stability and avoid cold-solder joints into the PCB. Additional glueing is possible to secure the toroidal core to the carrier.
The sockets are made in gfr Polybutylene Terephthalate PBT of type pcg (RTI long-range temperature +130°C). Solder-tag material is brass tinned and solder-pin material is tin bronze, tinned. Maximum solder temperature 350°C, 2 sec.

DIL-Sockets (Dual-In-Line) are suitable for complex circuits such as logic circuits, resistor networks or diode matrix. The sockets feature "stand-offs" which allow clean soldering of the wires and of the sockets onto the pcb. A suitable DIL-Box is available.
