This catalogue of coilformers contains information on all our products of the Planar-Components

This range of PLANAR Coilformers is for inductors using self-supporting winding packages on pcb´s or pc-foils. Employing new ferrite grades superior electric performance is achieved in comparsion with conventional windings. Comparable performances are realized with much lower space requirements, particularly overall-height.

Our extensive range of modular tooling allows almost unlimited constructional changes, to customers specification, often by simple changes of tool inserts. In addition, our modular tooling system allows short tooling times and is also cost effective.

Fully tagged or pinned coilformers - in small quantities - are usually available at short lead-times from stock. On request we can also quote for coilformers with pinning to your requirements. All lead-times are relatively short.

All dimensions in mm. The permissible deviations according to DIN 16901 apply as tolerances. Should you need further assistance or advice, please contact us.

PLANAR Coilformers - Solder Connect

The planar coilformers are made in gfr Polyamide PA66 of type x2g5 (RTI long-range temperature +120°C). Pin material: tin bronze, tinned. Maximum solder temperature 350°C, 2 sec. Special materials -e.g. irradiated cross-linked- and designs on request, dimensions in mm/inch.

Planar coilformers with solder-connections were developed for individual and easily changeable winding designs. Electrical connections are via solder-pins located outside the core-area. This also allows the use of different winding carriers, pcb, foil or copper stamping in the same winding design.

PLANAR Boxes

The planar potting boxes are made in gfr Polyamide PA66 of type x2g5 (RTI long-range temperature +120°C). Special materials and designs on request, dimensions in mm/inch.

This also allows the use of winding carriers, pcb, foil or copper stampings in the same winding design. The snap-on cover onto which product data and company logo can be printed, completes the assembly and protects the coil.
